i am a student studying in ankita high school in tumkur. we are the seniors of the school ,we are a class consisting of 7 students. 6 gals- namitha , sagarika, kinnari( myself), preksha, pooja and tejaswini we are great friends and 1 guy that is santosh. we all study in 8th , ours is a small yet beautiful school. every class has limited students the whole school makes up by 113 children. our teachers are very friendly. we dont call them as maam but as aunty. they are very caring and are affectionate towards us. we have a strong bond between us. our headmistress is mrs. rekha babu she is also called as rekha aunty. we love our teachers and the institution though i have only joined the school 1 and a half yrs ago i feel i have known this school forever and i am compleately in love with it. it is a very different kind of school it is a montessori school this kind of education was founded by Maria Montessori thanks to her we are actually studying in such a environment. we study through games, fun, and learn practically. it makes us learn better, and stays long in our memory too. i love this kind of learninig. this is the speciality of our school. the adults are all warm hearted and teach us enthusiastically. so i say ” my school rocks”

Hi Kinnari! I came across your webpage when searching Mangalore on Google; my mom is from Mangalore and she studied in St. Agnes so I was intrigued when I saw you had friends from there. I’m 15 years old and I live in North Carolina, USA. I was born here and have lived here my whole life. My family speaks Tulu as well.
My mom is from a family of artists and my uncle is an author as well as an architect (my other uncle is also an architect). My mom read a few lines from your father’s story and she really enjoyed it!
I just thought I’d let you know this website of yours is great! If you have time please email me back.
    Nikita
